Cloverleaf Elementary School students in the fourth-grade class of Amy Davis enjoyed a Sweet Slice of Summer on Sept. 19. Students took turns reading essays about their favorite activities from last summer.Highlights included pig roasts, the fair, family reunions, swimming and vacation trips. The readings concluded with everyone enjoying a slice of crisp watermelon.Thank you to the parents and grandparents who were able to attend -- and especially for bringing the watermelon!
